Do You Take Insurance ?
We have confidence in our doctoral level education to provide you the best possible care within our scope of practice without being limited by insurance companies. Therefore, we do not accept insurance. However, if you have out of network benefits through your insurance then we can provide you with a superbill with which you can seek reimbursement through your insurance.
Do you Take HSA or FSA Cards ?
Yes! This is a great way to use your health savings account. These cards can also be used for the classes.
How Many Visits Will it Require ?
You should be seeing significant results in just a few visits, however, depending on the condition it make take several treatment sessions to reach your goals. Each treatment plan is tailored to your needs and is dependent upon a variety of factors including: the complexity of the condition, what is found in the initial evaluation, and your adherence to your home program and commitment to your health.
What is Dry Needling? Is it the Same as Acupuncture?
Although acupuncture needles are used, dry needling is not the same as acupuncture. In dry needling, sterile monofilament needles are utilized to target specific muscles in order to release tension
Do You Perform Intravaginal or Intrarectal Treatment ?
Depending on your symptoms, concerns, and the preceding findings in the evaluation, a pelvic floor assessment may be warranted. The pelvic floor muscles are best accessed intravaginally or intrarectally and can give your therapist further insight into any contributing factors to your symptoms. This will only be done with written and verbal consent from each client. Please know that you always have the right to refuse any type of assessment/treatment at any time.
What Should I Wear to My Appointment?
Please wear comfortable clothes that you feel confident moving around in and performing exercises. Examples include: joggers, yoga pants, running short, etc.
